Fantastic beach getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is perfectly laid out for everyone to have their space yet still be together. Having bicycles, chairs, and umbrellas, was the cherry on top! Couldn't ask for anything more!

We had a much needed, restful vacation! The property location was wonderful! We enjoyed using daily the provided bikes to shop and dine in Rosemary. Although we could also go to the beach in Rosemary, we much preferred driving 5 minutes to the less crowded Inlet Beach. The owner was a simple text message away. Very easy to communicate with and quick to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We also appreciated the variety of beach toys and towels provided. Thank you!!!

Great Family Vacation Spot

We really enjoyed our stay at Wanderawhile. The house was perfect for our family. Plenty of room and very clean. We used the bikes to ride to and from the beach and around town with ease. The house had all the amenities we needed for a wonderful stay on 30A!

Wonderful stay on 30A

Our first family vacation was a success. Beautiful property, plenty of space, close to the pool, easy access to two beaches. We plan to come back!

Great family vacation rental

This property is a great place for families to stay! It is on a quiet street but so close to all the shops/beaches. We really enjoyed taking the bikes around town. One thing that would make the house even better is a gas grill, having to mess with charcoal was a bit time consuming. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again!

Great family get away

What a lovely place to spend the week! The house was clean, beautiful and perfectly accommodating for our family. The neighborhood was quiet, yet still convenient to all of the activities on 30A. Todd was very communicative and quick to respond to anything we had questions about. Would definitely stay here again!!

Cozy family home

Our family had a wonderful week. Greg and Norma’s house was like staying with family! So many extras included that we didn’t expect that made us feel so welcome. We will definitely come back!

Gem of a property

Wonderful property in gem of a spot. Not quite on the beach but an easy bike ride away. Very nice to be offset from the business of the main area of seacrest village and genuinely a beautiful home

Wonderful Stay

This house is located in the perfect spot and just a short walk to both Rosemary and Alys Beaches. Quick access to both 98 and 30A. We appreciated having bikes at the house instead of having to rent. The house was clean and beautiful, perfect for our family! The owners were quick to respond to any questions. Would absolutely recommend and look forward to renting again.

Wonderful trip to 30A

We were very impressed with the house. The location is farther away from the beach than we expected but the beach tram made it pretty easy. One of the adult bikes was pretty horrible but we made do. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need. I would 100 % recommend this house.

Beautiful home and perfect for a large family

What a fun week at this beautiful home! It had everything we needed for our family of 5! The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with all of the essentials (and more!). A quick and easy bike ride to anything we wanted to do. The kids loves how quaint and quiet the street was and loved being able to go and ride their bikes without mama worrying! Thank you for the amazing hospitality, we will be back!

Lovely Home

Overall our stay at Wanderawhile was wonderful. The house is beautiful, the kitchen is well appointed, and they even provided a bike for each adult and child in our group. Since biking in this area is a necessity not an option it was great that we didn't have to rent bikes. Potential guests should know that the only pool you have access to is the small Treetop pool. And the other pools enforce this. Also, if you plan to rent chairs and umbrellas for the beach do so as soon as you book your vacation. Two comments for the owner - there is a very bad smell at the top of the stairs. Perhaps due to water damage? I wish that would have been taken care of before we arrived. Also, the mattress on the lower bunk bed in the room with the King bed is stained. I suggest a mattress pad if you are not replacing that mattress.

Family Spring Break

We had a great stay, as a family of 5 (kids age 4,7 and 9) the home was beautiful yet comfortable and clean. Access to beach was easier than anticipated. Beds were super comfy (I’ve been to others with terrible mattresses). Shopping and dining an easy 5 minute bike ride or 20 minute walk! Only thing I would have loved was if the community pool was heated, which sounds like something that may happen in the future! The water was too chilly to swim when we were there end of March. My kids enjoyed the train set on the one rainy day we had. Home was well stocked! Thanks again!

I'll start by saying the owners, Greg and Norma, are beyond helpful and responsive. Which can make or break a VRBO stay. They delivered. As we planned our trip they gave us the skinny about some things to make it smoother (the rundown on each beach, getting groceries, etc.). Their instructions on everything were spot on. The day before we got there, there was a big storm that messed with the internet, thermostat and fridge (which suddenly quit a few days in). They addressed everything as quickly (including a next-day new fridge!) and these fairly big things never ruined our vacation. The bikes were a hit with all of us. The house was the perfect size for two families and had all the amenities we needed - including that big dining room table where we could all eat and play games together. The screened in patio is nice to eat or hang out on. And the kitchen has everything you need. (one note to future renters: our kids were 10-13 and the bunk room beds just fit the younger two, which was great; just don't read "bed" and assume it's full length as a heads up)The beach is super close. The pool is close (and just the right size). The neighborhood is quiet. Overall it was a great house and location for families. Pro Tip: do yourself a favor and hit the nearby Donut Hole. We did. Three times.

Relaxing getaway!

From the beginning before we even arrived, Greg was wonderful with communication! They shared several restaurant recommendations, and suggested reservations. (Everything was delicious!) The house was beautiful, exactly as advertised, and just private enough. The pool was great as well, we had it to ourselves everytime we went, which was nice. Our family visited with us one of the days, and it was so nice that the house was stocked with toys and board games, I really feel like they thought of everything. If I’m being nit picky, the bed was a little firm for my liking, but everyone has a different preference, so it’s not really that big of a deal...it definitely wouldn’t keep me from staying again. Highly recommend!

A Hidden Gem

The Home is a beautiful quiet property in a gated community that offers the peace and quiet that I don't think you will find in the adjacent areas. It is forest like, you can hear nature. A few hundred feet away is the private community pool. A few minute walk into the seacrest and Rosemary Beach that are very congested. We walked across 30A into the private beach where the owners have provided wristbands to access. There is also a tram that will take you to the beach if you don't want to walk. The house is more than fully stocked. There are bikes, beach chairs, ice chests , you name it. I would not consider going anywhere else.

Relaxing family vacation

We enjoyed our family time at Wanderawhile! Our hosts were very easy to communicate with and kept us informed throughout the process. You can tell that they really care about whether or not your stay is comfortable. They provided extras that matter to families…lots of board games/puzzles, huge basket of wooden train tracks, doll house furniture. We also made use of the beach chairs and the beach towels; it was nice to not have to travel with those. We did bring our own beach umbrellas. We definitely preferred driving to Inlet Beach instead of Seacrest Beach. Seacrest was very crowded and not very big. If you plan on purchasing beach set-up at Seacrest, then you might be ok. Inlet has a lot more space for personal set-up, but they also have the option to purchase set-up too. We ate at home all but one night. The kitchen had most of what we needed, and there is a Publix very close by. Our only real complaint was that the secondary bathrooms were quite tiny. They were fine for our teenagers; but for full size adults and for helping our younger kids shower, the master bath is better. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful Family Home

This was a perfect house for our family of 4 plus two teenage friends of our kids. The house was very clean and had a great open feeling for hanging out downstairs. We played games at the large dining table. The home had everything we needed, and we appreciated the little thoughtful items we found in the storage. They had sand toys, kid bikes, beach chairs and umbrella, toys for little kids (even though ours were older, they still set up the train track). They had adult bikes, beach towels, games, and everything we needed for the kitchen to cook. The location was amazing because you had close access to 30A at Seacrest but you could get to the home from 98. This helps so much with traffic and made it much easier to drive to play golf or do activities in PCB. The grocery store Publix was SO close and convenient, about a 3 minute drive on 98. We used the tram to get to the beach, the tram stop was 2 houses down, so very close. The kids rode the bicycles everywhere. It had a very nice private pool that we relaxed in, and in the late afternoon it had much appreciated shade. We loved the location. This is our 3rd time to stay at Seacrest and this location was our favorite. The homeowners had great communication and any questions or concerns we had were addressed quickly. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home!

Rosemary Beach

Greg is a great host. He communicates well and provides great information about the local area. We loved the house and will definitely plan to stay there in the future!The location of the house is perfect for my family as we enjoyed exploring the entire area and having quick access to hwy 98 made this handy for traveling to Panama City or Destin.Inlet Beach was our favorite place to relax and just a few minutes to drive from the house. The bikes were also very handy for a short ride into Rosemary beach area for shopping and dining.

Amazing stay near 30A

The place was amazing. Location was so close to everything including multiple beaches, restaurants, grocery stores and shopping. Owners were amazing with communication and had everything you could want for your beach vacation including beach chairs, umbrella, toys, and even a bunch of bikes to ride to the beach, restaurants, and shops. I could not give enough stars for this place. Will definitely come back for another vacation!
