Wonderful hotel. Very friendly knowledgeable staff. Right beside train station, walking distance to Zaandam town and short train ride to downtown Amsterdam, airport or anywhere else. If you want a getaway in Amsterdam this is the place to stay. If you arrive by plane go to the lower floor for train station, takes you right to the hotel. So convenient!

The hotel inside is modern and new. Room size is spacious. Breakfast was quite good. We did not care for the area. There were weeds and garbage all around the parking lot. And the outside property needs some TLC.

This is a really great hotel in a quiet area just outside of central Dam and easily accessible by train directly from the Central Station. The security guy was really nice, and we felt very safe in the area. The beds are new and super comfortable, and the rooms are quiet and clean. Didn't try the restaurant, but walked into Zaan Dam for breakfast at Lagom, which is just a few minutes away from the hotel. That said all the food looked very good. When we go back to Amsterdam, this hotel will be on our radar for sure.

Nice hotel less than 5 mins walk to a well connected station and regular trains to central Amsterdam. Modern well maintained. Room was quiet and comfortable I slept very well The front desk team were welcoming and helpful. The lower cost more than made up for the slight inconvenience of the journey to the city

Zaan hotel stay

We stayed for 5 nights. The staff were friendly and the hotel is clean. It’s very conveniently located near a grocery store and the train/bus station, which is a huge plus. Would definitely stay here again.

Easy walk to train station, nice local town. Hotel comfortable, friendly staff. Restaurant generally good (aside from a minor hiccup on the Sun evening) but food, good, helpful staff and can cater for gluten free. Clean comfortable rooms with everything you need. Enjoyed our visit, would stay again

The hotel is really close to the train station, about 2 minute walking but as every train station everywhere, sometimes you encounter strange individuals. There is a supermarket very close to the hotel where you can buy food or any other stuff that you might need which is convenient. Also, within walking distance, you have many restaurants. We also ate at the restaurant at the hotel and the food was good and the service great. We asked them to change our pillows as they are quite high and hard and they were able to help us with this request the following day. We rented some bicycles through them and biked to the windmills. Very easy to get there and it was a fun ride. We found that the hotel was great and the service was great too.

Great stay

Great stay. Staff were friendly and really helpful. Great location near trains into the city and buses into Zaanse Schans. Hotel was fairly quiet apart from a couple of small groups. Good place to stay if you don’t like the city noise.

Being across the train station was our highlight. Breakfast was spectacular. Service excellent. They were so nice to open breakfast half an hour earlier on Sunday. May better allow easy access to taxis dropping guests at the door of the hotel
