Bierhaus Cabin is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. Our cabin is not only a peaceful retreat but also home to many wild visitors – elk, deer, wild turkeys, the occasional bobcat, and even a bear might wonder by! This family-friendly haven combines the best of both worlds: a serene mountain escape just a few minutes’ drive from downtown Estes Park, where you’ll find great dining and shopping options. Plus, there’s no need to battle peak-season traffic when you’re heading into RMNP – Bierhaus Cabin is conveniently located on the same side of Estes Park as the main park entrance.
Bierhaus Cabin is the perfect starting point for your mountain adventures. Bierhaus Cabin offers a relaxing ambiance while having a front row seat to the natural beauty and the areas wildlife. If you are looking to stargaze you simply sit on the deck and enjoy the serenity of the mountains. Fishing access, picnic spots, and a playground along the Big Thompson River, are all within view of the cabin.
Take a short walk along the Big Thompson River to enjoy expansive views of Moraine Park, visit the nearby museum, or catch the shuttle to other RMNP destinations. For those eager for more adventure, continue your hike to Cub Lake, where you’ll have extraordinary opportunities to see elk herds along the way.

If you are feeling the creative vibe Estes Park has always attracted filmmakers, writers, and artists. This charming area is home to the iconic Stanley Hotel, known for its eerie atmosphere and deep connection to The Shining, making it a must-visit destination for fans of the horror genre. Whether you're drawn to the stunning landscapes or intrigued by its cinematic history, Estes Park offers a unique blend of nature and mystery.
