This house is just outside the city limits and close to all of Highlands shopping, dining experiences. The trail heads to Chinquapin Mountain and Glen Falls are just a short walk down the road. Relax, hangout on the two covered decks while enjoying the sounds of the creek. Enjoy your own private creek just steps away from the house- perfect for soaking your toes, searching for small gems or pull out the yoga mat and get in touch with your namaste.
The space
This 3 bedroom, 2 bath split floor plan home is all on one level. With soaring ceilings in the great room, it's easy to enjoy the great outdoors through the huge windows that look out into the treetops. Two covered decks which are perfect for relaxing to the sounds of the creek.

The KITCHEN: Fully equipped, stainless steel appliances, drip coffee maker, Crockpot, microwave, blender,, dishware/flatware, basic cooking essentials.
Fully stocked staples- coffee filters, paper towels, napkins, baggies, plastic wrap, aluminum foil just to name a few. We tried to think of everything you might need so you do not have to. For coffee- we have a normal drip machine and a French press. We provide local ground coffee :)
About the BEDROOMS- All new beds with comfortable modern mattresses that should send even the hard to sleep human off to dream land. All beds have down/ down alternative comforters with duvet covers, a set of pillows. All beds have a 'can't even tell they are there' mattress cover protector. Extra pads are available if needed for the younger visitors- stored in hallway closet. All duvet covers are washed after each rental. All rooms have an extra set of sheets and cozy blankets.
About the BATHROOMS- towels, Pantene shampoo and conditioner, Dove body wash provided.
Bedroom #1 - King size- Tempur-Pedic mattress, sitting area with two chairs, a small desk area, dresser, open closet complete with hangers. Attached bathroom.
Bedroom #2- King size- Venus William Ghost Bed -Memory foam, Hybrid, This room has a sitting area with one chair, open closet with plenty of hangers. Shared bathroom in the hallway.
Bedroom #3- Two twin Ghost Beds. Shared bathroom in the hallway. The twin beds can be pushed together to create a king bed. Please mention when booking if you would like for us to have it set up for a king.
Living area- High ceiling open concept with large windows to enjoy the beautiful trees, dining area, kitchen and living space all in one. It's a great space for visiting with loved ones, playing a game, watching your favorite show or just snuggling on the couch.
INDOOR LIVING: Smart TV with sound bar, gas fireplace, blue tooth sound table, lots of games and puzzles
OUTDOOR LIVING: Balcony, covered deck- the cover is a must for those rainy mountain days, large gas grill, outdoor dining/seating areas, porch swing
LAUNDRY AREA: We have provided lots of extra towels and sheets so hopefully you do not have to spend much time in this area. To access the laundry area take the side back stairs and enter the lower level. This area is a soon to be separate apartment that will available for families that have extra family members.
GENERAL: Keyless entry, A/C & heating, fans in every room.
FAQ: Four steps for the main entrance, off the back is an entire flight of outdoor covered staircase and can be used when parking in the lower parking area or doing laundry.
WIFI- Starlink and backup internet is Frontier.
PARKING: Upper parking area is enough space for two normal size cars or one large -three point turn 'skills' will be important for parking in this area. Lower parking is a large area and can park three or four cars.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire space and property. There is a separate lower level that will be available in the future for YOUR extra family members and/or friends on an as-need-basis. So stay tuned.
