Resting high on a hill overlooking the lake, Belview Bay Get-a-Way offers magnificient views both day and night of Smith Mountain Lake from the living area and deck of the end unit condo. There is NO BETTER PLACE for sunsets than at Belview Bay. During fall and winter the Dam is visible from the master bedroom window.

Whether your visit entails getting away and resting or you are looking for fun, SML offers it all. Enjoy a day boating on the lake fishing or exploring the coves and eat at one of the many lake front eating places or hang back and enjoy the pool.

Enjoy beauty, comfort and luxury in this comfortably apportioned end-unit condo. The full kitchen offers space to prepare and cook food while others chat at the kitchen bar. The living area is surrounded with windows which overlook the pool, lake and marina. There is plenty of storage, and the loft (1/2 bedroom) offers a a daybed with a trundle.

Upstairs, the master bedroom is large and has a newly furnished sitting area in addition to the king size bed. There is also a television with Comcast xfinity in the master bedroom.

Adjacent to the master, the second bedroom has a bunk bed with a full size bed on bottom and twin sized bed on top. The bathroom has a jetted tub surrounded by tile.

The loft is open to the large living area, but it is suitable for two to sleep comfortably on the twin daybed and trundle.

FYI YOU WILL NEED TO BRING SHEETS AND TOWELS. PILLOWS ARE PROVIDED.

The half bath is downstairs and allows a private area for changing and getting ready.

Enjoy gathering in the living room at the tv or enjoy the view in the sitting area.

The deck is a perfect place to end the evening watching the grand sunsets, the deer eating and the ducks crossing the lake. Then start the next day with coffee on the deck.

Activities nearby include walking the miles of trails at Smith Mountain State Park; swimming; boating; jet skiing; fishing for striper; checking out The Cliffs; shopping at Bridgewater Marina (about 20 minutes); visiting the SML Dam visitors center; visiting the D-Day Memorial in Bedford (about 30 minutes); visiting the Booker T. Washington Home near West Lake (about 30 minutes). Wintergreen Ski Resort is about an hour and a half away; the Peaks of Otter are a lovely hiking get-a-way; Zip-lines within 30 minutes drive. The newest adventure is a rope swing just before you reach the dam on the right. (Shhh)

Eating options nearby include The Dam Grill near Whitehouse Store, Heath's Waterfront Grill at Mariner's Landing, and the snack shop at SML State Park (seasonal). The White House Store at the intersection of White House Road and SM Parkway has a good grill and deli.

Golf at Mariner's Landing is 2 miles from the condo. The course is long and the scenery is good. There is a driving range. The pro-shop has hot-dogs, hamburgers and grilled sandwiches.

This is a great location in a quieter section of the lake which has plenty of goodies to make your stay enjoyable. Please note: High-speed internet was recently made available at this unit.
