Fantastic Victorian mansion Just 2 blocks off beautiful Forsyth Park. The house is situated in the Historic District of Savannah and is about a fifteen minute walk to the river thru scenic streets and squares. Restored to original condition, this house is filled with unique woodwork, original stained glass windows, original floors and moldings. . Enter into a large historic foyer which will bring you back to the late 1800s. Parlor level includes living room, dining room, kitchen, butler's pantry, Office/ Sitting Room (with Convertable Queen Sofa Bed) and powder room. Beautiful kitchen is complete with new gas oven, microwave, two dishwashers, butler's pantry and fireplace. The dining room table seats ten guests. The original grand staircase takes you to the living quarters where you will find meticulously restored bedrooms, each with its own charm. Two bedrooms have king and two have queen beds Two have private baths and two share a Jack and Jill style full bathroom. The Attic level has a large bedroom with queen bed as well as a bathroom with freestanding copper tub, Down the hall is a Full Fulton, The game has a poker table, and chess/checkers table. The TV/Flex room has a Full Trundle bed (Two full Beds). The attic loft in flex room has a queen bed. (Ladder access) Gas fireplaces are located thru-out the house. Large double decks overlook the beautifully designed side yard with walkways and fountain. This home was designed by William Preston Gibbons, a renowned architect recognized for designing many of the most notable buildings in Savannah. This home is one of the more unique in a very unique town. Bedrooms are very large and spacious. The house is very open and spacious and is filled with much natural light. The yard has sitting area in the front and a patio with chairs in the rear to enjoy the outdoor spaces.
Perfect vacation rental that can accommodate families, and large groups. We have 3 King Beds, 3 Queen Beds, Trundle Bed with Two Fulls. Full Futon, Queen Cot with Foam Mattress as sleeping options. Queen Convertable Sleeper in sitting room/office. Twin convertable Chair in a bedroom. A stay at the Judge Harden's House will make your stay in HIstoric Savannah that much more memorable. Less then one minute walk to Kroger Supermarket with Starbucks inside.

Beautiful house with lots of space for 10 ladies! Michael was an incredible host- we had some issues with water and within the hour he had a plumber out! We were thrilled with the stay and would recommend any larger group stay at this fantastic home.

Best House in Savannah

This was our 2nd stay at Harden House in Savannah and by far the best vacation rental in the city. The house is steps away from Forsyth Park and next door to a Kroger with a Starbucks inside. What more could you need? Dedicated parking and Yard space- both hard things to find in the city. Harden House is immaculately clean and the most well-stocked rental I have stayed in before. We love this house and will be back.

We had a wonderful girl’s trip to Savannah. We enjoyed exploring the city. The house was amazing. We loved the charm of an older home along with the amenities of a “newer” home, e.g., A/C, washer/dryer, modern kitchen and appliances. The rooms, both communal and private were spacious. The porch off the kitchen was a favorite hang out spot.

Spectacular property

I booked this property for my sister’s 50th birthday celebration on St Patty’s day. The house was the perfect central point for the celebration. There was some confusion on the number of rooms but Michael worked with us and it all worked out perfectly. A well maintained house with all the historic charm.

Our family of 10 adults stayed here for a weekend wedding. The location was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. We loved all of the dramatic interior touches that you find in old houses.

Perfect Golf Weekend Home

Celebration of Life

A group of us long term friends from Connecticut, Texas and California met in Savannah to celebrate the life of our wonderful friend Martha. It was a very healing weekend with love, laughter and friendship. The house (mansion) is so lovely and was the perfect place for us to get together.

Great for the entire family!

Our extended family of 12 had a great stay and enjoyed exploring a new part of Savannah to us. Forsyth Park was beautiful and within a quick walking distance. And having the grocery store next door was so convenient.

Beautiful home in a great location

The pictures reflect the home. It is beautiful and well stocked for a large group. We had many laughs rocking on the porch. Michael was very responsive and assisted us with last minute requests. We are grateful for that. Only regret - I wish we hired the in home chef he recommended. That would have made for a nice at-home evening. Highly recommend this home.
