During the same month, residents who would like to take advantage of quieter travel periods this season can book between 20 to 22 November. Overall, travel is significantly cheaper this fall, when demand dips between the busy summer and winter holidays, leading to lower prices on both flights and accommodations.
“Fall is the sweet spot for savvy travellers,” said Melanie Fish, Head of Public Relations for Expedia Group Brands. “Not only are airfares dropping during the shoulder season, but routes are significantly quieter towards the third week of November. These quieter periods offer up a unique chance for travelers to explore long-haul destinations like the United States and Canada before colder weather sets in.”
