"Nice hotel with good breakfast. The staff was friendly. Good parking possibilities. The only negative was that they did not serve any food (except breakfast) and that the roof made a lot of noise when it was raining (there are some kind of plastic protection on the roof of the room which make the rain sound a lot, hard to sleep without earplugs). "We enjoyed our very short stay at La Bonita Lodge. Unfortunately the airline lost our luggage so we spent most of our day in San Jose buying clothes before heading down to Puerto Viejo. "This was a girls' trip, and since we didn’t have a car, Maritza’s location was absolutely perfect! The hotel is within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shopping, making everything so convenient. The daily breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. The property is well-kept, and the rooms have been beautifully renovated. We’ll definitely be back for another Pura Vida girls trip!"
