"Many years ago, before the infamous conflagration that destroyed part of the hotel, I stayed there. Also, every Sunday, my family and I would indulge in tea/coffee with fresh scones, cream and strawberry jam. The bar, then, was most charming. "We loved our stay. The staff were exceptional. Huge thanks to the beautiful two ladies in the kitchen, we loved our breakfast. Gardens and the horses were beautiful. Watch out for the hippo in the dam! Everyone was super friendly. "

"Arrived on Friday afternoon and received excellent reception from the front desk.there was no toilet spray or any odour controlling mechanism in the bathroom room.left the room at 5am and came back at 12:30 pm.the room was cleaned but without towels,they were only replaced around 13:00.had an issue the aircon that sounded like a petrol fuelled generator which was attended to immediately."
