"Nice apartment on oldest street in Melk. Easy to follow instructions for entry. Clean and convenient. Window opened onto Main Street. Loved the town of Melk and would definitely stay in this apartment again. Modern and equipped kitchen for prep of simple meals. Easy walk to train station and bus stop."

"We had a wonderful stay in this lovely inn. Our room was spacious and comfortable. I could have stayed in all day to enjoy the view of the Danube. Dinner on the terrace was excellent and featured fresh and seasonal dishes. The breakfast buffet offered excellent variety and quality too. "

"La note attribuée à l’établissement n’est pas du tout justifiée. L’accès à l’appartement n’est pas pratique du tout. On doit se garer devant une épicerie pour avoir les clés, puis la traverser avec les bagages et aller à l’étage pour accéder à l’appartement. Le parking est à 600m de l’appartement. La propreté laissait à désirer (sang de mouche écrasée sur la fenêtre non lavée). La poubelle était ouverte donc les odeurs était présentes. Bien entendu elle n’était pas enlevée de façon quotidienne....

"The hotel has charm and is located quite near the historic old town center and within walking distance to the museums; the staff is friendly and helpful; the breakfast buffet is very nice with a wide selection of foods, very authentic Austrian ambiance to the breakfast and the hotel. The short comings are that there is no kettle or fridge with no food services at the hotel except for the breakfast buffet. The nearby restaurants are expensive though there are a few supermarkets within walking...

"The location is pretty, breakfast was good and hotel overall is in good shape. They really should consider installing air conditioners since the weather has gotten so hot in most of Europe. It was very difficult to sleep. The temp dropped a bit but very late at night and the fans were just circulating hot air. "
