"This was a lovely find for a stop over on the way to the Alps. The rooms offer lots of space with split level feature. We loved the pool, hot tub, sauna, the free parking and the buffet breakfast. We weren't as fond of the dinner in the restaurant. It's a lovely, quiet area (takes awhile to get to!), but we loved it and will definitely want to come back again."
"Simply great in every way possible. Beautiful house with a spacious 2 room accomodation for our family of four. Breakfast with bread and pastries fresh from a local bakery accompanied by home made marmelades and jams. Very friendly hosts who are happy to recommend restaurants and places to visit, such as Lac d'Orient that we visited three times during our five night stay. Last but not least, a very nice pool area. Highly recommended!"

"We (retired Brit couple) have stayed at Val Moret many times over 20 years or so. Dinner at the restaurant is always a highlight and the most recently acquired chef has increased the already delicious standards.
Rooms are clean and comfortable, all one needs for a night’s journey stopover. (I suspect few people book a week’s holiday here but a few nights would be entirely reasonable).
During 2025 there are building works progressing toward enlargement of the restaurant and reception. The work...
