"We enjoyed our stay at Mariposa, the tone was set the moment we arrived. We checked in late and I went to go run in to give our information, our server Robby insured that he needed to greet us properly and asked all our guests to come in for a welcome drink which we thoroughly enjoyed, the kitchen was also waiting on to offer us dinner before they went home for the evening. "The perfect place to stay in San Ignacio! You can easily walk to the main streets of town, and it's only a short drive to places like Cahal Pech and Xunantunich. The staff was wonderful, and our room was a crisp, air-conditioned oasis after being out in the sunshine! Our room had a balcony, but there's also a nice shaded sitting area by the bar.
