Great hotel and will definitely stay there again. All the staff were lovely and the hotel was nice, clean, and once in your room, quiet. I didn't realize that the pool had no heating, so that was a bit of a bite even in warm climes. Breakfast got a bit repetitive and the tongs were a bit gross. But ...

Great place to walk the streets. Go to the old town with the narrow streets leading up to the cathedral. River front is scenic with old bridges including the Red Bridge designed by Gustav Eiffle of tower fame. Great outdoor dining and shopping.
Girona is a must see place, beautiful medieval constructions! We also visited some little towns close to it which are also worth seeing (Besalú, Peratallada and Pals).
The small old city, bigger living parts. View to the valley from the city walls and Montanya de la O is astonishing. It also has nice churches, especially the Cathedral. Unfortunately, no churches provide an ability to go upstairs to see the vaults.
