Very friendly place. I was there as a volunteer for the Yukon Quest. The area really welcomes visitors.
Whitehorse is a very sleepy town with nothing to do. We went to see the northern lights but were disappointed because it didn’t appear on the night we got the tour. With or without the Aurora Borealis, there is nothing exciting to go or see.
Nice area and wonderful people. Loved the MacIntyre Center
An awesome town! So much history and things to do, from the Klondike to Miles Canyon with all the hiking trails! Friendly community.
A good jumping off point for a vacations. The one day drive to Atlin and back is spectacular. Kluane National Park is just a few hours west, and Skagway and Haines are both just to the southwest. We spent 5 days in town, and seemed to be enough.
