Theres no specific borders of Chile/Argentina that exists as such at this far end of Tierra Del Fuego. How confusing can it get to understand that the forest area of that mountain in front, namely the Condor mountain is part of Argentina and the rest is Chile. 😆 I guess the hikers can easily get confused and land up in any one. 😂 Well the Darwins(snow capped ones) stands distinctively on the other side in Chile! 😁 #ushuaia #atworldsend

Only in the last few years have a colony of King Penguins have established in Chile's Tierra del Fuego; typically they're found in Antarctica. You can view them on them on a detour on your way to or from Ushuaia at the Parque del Penguino Rey (King Penguin Park) the park is protected and you have to pay about a 25 dollar entrance fee, which seems expensive on a backpacker budget, but it's so worth it!
Penguins can be Bold or Shy .. here at the bottom of the world near Cape Horn one Penguin wants to swim the icy waters and the other has second thoughts. These are Magellanic Penguins at Tucker’s Inlet. Sometimes King Penguins from Antartica can be seen here on vacation.
