A magical cave at Halong Bay. It was believed to be submerged in water some hundred years ago. Now the stalactites and stalagmites are a wonder to see. The cave is extremely huge and a bit elevated from the bay to reach the opening.

Breathtaking scenery. Sadly, the water is not very clean and there's lot of rubbish and even dead fish floating in the water.

It is slowly turning into a great place to visit. Still many areas are under construction, but in a few years the place will be a rockstar.

Lot of expectations, but Halong Bay can be replaced by Ninh Bình... Similar mountain formations, more greenary. Easier to access.

Extremely smoggy which interferes with the beauty. There are also cruise ships everywhere littering the Bay which is sad also. Additionally, all the adventure sites are packed with tourists - and we went during off season. Recommend day trip instead.
