One of my original favorite places in Sumatra: Tuk Tuk on Samosir Island, Lake Toba. Quiet, peaceful, cool, with the coolest pub in Sumatra!
Amazing breakfast views and the tastiest fried egg and tomato on toast. I don't know what they do but it's perfect. American breakfast only 40,000IDR includes fruit salad and a hot drink. The restaurant has 270 degree views of beautiful Lake Toba.

Lovely stay.
Lovely hotel, helpful staff, excellent breakfast and food. not cheap by Indonesian standards but great in every way. Fully recommended.

Was unable to sleep due to villa being so close to main road, was not helped by having window panels missing. No pool, no English tv stations, no WiFi. Location so remote needed to hire motor bike every day
