A block from the Natural History Museum, a walk across the park from the Met, kitty corner from amazing bagels and surrounded by great restaurants and ice cream. Couldn't ask for more. "Nicely appointed rooms, comfortable beds, spacious for NYC. Clean. Nice views. Easy check in and easy walk to the train station to NYC. I will book again. A few homeless people nearby but property felt safe. Hotel should stay reasonable because of this. Lobby could use a refresh."

"I am surprised that the overall rating average for this hotel isn't higher. Soent 3 days with my 8 year old nephew and it was perfect. Spacious room, comfy beds, and AC that kept us cool when it was 100 degrees outside. We especially liked the smoothie place just next door (you get a discount for staying at the hotel) and friendly staff. I have stayed in a dozen or more NYC hotels and this is now in my top 3. "
