"The hotel was just what we wanted, a hotel in a very small and cute town. Hotel is not luxurious, but it's very serviceable/comfortable. The picture of the water is misleading, as there is no river near the town."
"Expedia and Les Castelles need to make the pool and spa usage very clear in the booking email. There was no mention of charging to use sauna or hot tub or when and if it could be used. "
"Auf unserer Motorradreise in den Süden Frankreichs habe wir durch Zufall das La Maison des Etoiles gefunden. Für zwei Nächte gebucht und weil es so schön war noch eine Nacht verlängert. Wie soll man es besser beschreiben, als Fremder gekommen als Freund gefahren. "Medieval monastery converted to a beautiful hotel with loads of character and charm. Lovely grounds surrounding the hotel were ideal for afternoon picnics or reading under the shade of the massive pine trees. Great restaurant in-house with locally sourced menu. Every detail was perfect and the staff were brilliant. The surrounding Gorges du Tarn and Gorge de la Jonte were absolutely astounding. Great base for exploring the Cevennes.

"Arrived on Sunday to find that no restaurant/chef available. We did not know this and could have been a problem had we not been able to get a curry delivered!
The bar too was a bit of an issue, however, this was made available to us and dining Al Fresco with a beautiful view was accomplished.
Very nice people and a stunning setting. We all had individual rooms/fires that were well prepared and provided the rest that was needed."
