10/10 Excellent

"The best part of this trip was Hala the young receptionist with curly hair who was very helpful. I’m sorry if I got her name wrong. My daughter was very sick with the stomach “flu” and Hala helped us book our doctor appointment which was in French. It’s great that people go above and beyond in your time of need. The breakfast was god but $30 per person. Just skip it and go eat at the many cafes in the area."

"Would absolutely stay again. Dropped our luggage when we arrived early in the morning. Check in was quick, rooms were clean and air conditioned, and the lobby even had a water tap to fill our bottles every day which was awesome! We stayed in a smaller room the first night and then switched into a superior room after (it wasn’t available our first night) and it’s worth the price to pick a bigger room in my opinion! It’s close to the metro station as well but the one downside id say there are less restaurants and food options nearby."

Le Bellevue

"This was our second stay here - in a studio this time rather than a 1 bed apartment. The room was obviously smaller, but clean and well organised. We were in Paris in a heatwave, so it was very hot. There is no air conditioning, but the large fan supplied, plus the window shutter, allowed us to keep the room reasonably cool. The shower was really good, particularly on cold, full blast! We didn't do any cooking, but the fridge was great. The small freezer section did struggle to keep things frozen in the heat, but that was probably the exceptional conditions. The property is as described - there is a small lift and there are stairs, and a bit of a walk to the Metro (shorter to the bus stops). There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants round about. The sports bar underneath was a great venue for watching the world cup, and staff were very friendly. Our check-in process was all remote via WhatsApp - very straightforward with no issues. The ability to store luggage till check-in and after check-out times was very much appreciated. We really enjoyed another visit to Paris and Le Bellevue was great - we'll come back and stay again."

"The staff was very courteous and helpful. Although we arrived early, we were allowed to stow our luggage in one of our rooms until the other was ready. The rooms were clean and fresh. It is located in a neighborhood with access to cafes and shops—a nice escape from entirely touristy areas. There is a small elevator. As seems to be typical when traveling in Europe, there is no air conditioning. Usually, I don’t think that is an issue. Our visit was during an heatwave. Our room cooled nicely in the evening though. Overall, very economical and comfortable place to stay. Thank you!"

Babel Belleville

"It's a very cute hotel, and it's in the hip section of Belleville. I had never visited Paris before. And I really liked staying in Belleville. It reminds me of Brooklyn NY. The room I stayed in was super small. Not big enough for two people, in my opinion. The sink is actually in the room. No tv, but that didn't bother me. I loved the Bluetooth speaker in the room. It had a good sound. The bed was super comfy. And the air conditioner worked well."

"Timhotel Nation has clean rooms, a nice garden terrace, a pretty good breakfast, good location away from the tourist centre, and comfortable beds. Disadvantages are fairly minor except our room was really too small for the comfort of a couple. Value for money was not great but much better if you book well in advance."
