"Despite the hiccup with check-in it was handled expeditiously. The Lake Montezuma area delivered!! It was such a nice place to stay. I strongly recommend the nearby Peach Tree Cafe. The home was updated and comfortable. I just ignored the spiders, and they ignored me. Overall, great stay."

"Unlike most reviews we had wifi the whole time. We were in the main building close to the front desk. TV options very limited. No premium channels. Free DVD movies might be fine if you have kids or are under 40. Wed. night, only the bar was open for food and closed at 8pm. There are no close options so if you are a captive, at least the bar might stay open till 10pm. Bar music playing in the courtyard by the pool and jacuzzi at 8:30 am. Perhaps some peace an quiet in the morning. All being said...

Everything you’d want for a peaceful retreat was included, fireplace, chef’s kitchen, luxurious beds, deck with an amazing view and a soaker tub to watch the sunset. Close to hikes with breathtaking views. Convenient to good restaurants. This place left me pining for the pines."
