"This hotel is old and someone tried to fix it up themselves, but it didn't turn out very well. When we got there, the sheets were dirty and stained, and one of the blankets had a burn mark from a cigarette. The bad do-it-yourself job is everywhere, with paint splattered all over the mirrors and walls. If you're just looking for a basic hotel, then this is the one for you. "The night clerk was horrible upon arrival early am 5/26/17. There was a mix up with the name on the reservation because my sister arrived earlier than me. So she switched the reservation to Jackson therefore when I arrived asked for the reservation in Murdaugh unaware of this. The night clerk was very, very rude in trying to solve the problem. At this point, because she was so nasty I returned the unkindness. If this were my property I would not have her representing my property."
