The bath and shower didn’t have a curtain and the amenities were falling off the walls. The room walls were stained and marked all over. "Overall an excellent stay, room was good so was check in including accommodating dogs. I have scored low on service mainly because of the overnight porter/reception attendant. Twice on leaving and entering the hotel to let dogs relieve themselves including 5am there was absolutely no acknowledgement to our greeting to him or even eye contact to either my partner or myself which we both felt was rude and not very good for customer service. "This is a very typical small French hotel, although better appointed than many we have stayed in, Room was cosy but clean, quiet, warm (we stayed in Jan) and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. Having the bar and restaurant attached was useful, although this is only a short walk from the centre of Beaune with all it's sights, bars and restaurants. Lots of parking was also a bonus."
