"A disappointing stay. The room quality was poor with the bed pushed against the wall, very springy and short (I am 5ft 4in and my feet were through the end of the bed. The bathroom was unsafe with narrow steep stairs and insufficient headroom. There was a pumping noise which gave off a groan every two minutes continually during the night. The breakfast was adequate but not inspiring. The pictures on the website show the quaintness of the property which was what attracted us to it however, the pictures give a romanticised impression rather than the rather rundown and untidy reality. Friends of ours, also staying were housed in a garden shed! We were staying for a wedding nearby and there was nowhere bar one hook on the door, to hang any of our clothes. Overall, for one night we managed but I wouldn’t recommend this property in its current state. "
