"Budget hotel. Rather grim on the outside but fine inside. No reception when we arrived so used the machine to check in and pay. However, it then referred us to reception to get our code for the room. Pointless excercise. Luckily it was during the day and not the night. Room basic and bed was comfortable. Sadly no hairdryer but I suppose that comes with budget. Clean in the main but the details could have some attention I.e the sink plug had slime underneath. Breakfast was basic but...

"For a budget hotel it was great for what l needed. Cheap and cheerful with lovely comfy bed and a terrific shower that properly blasted away the night before but, BE AWARE that this hotel is NOWHERE NEAR central Calais. It is basically designed for truck drivers and is out on a limb by the motorway and a 40 MINUTE WALK from town 😥"

"This hotel was a lovely surprise. Set in its own grounds and set in a nice village, and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The hotel is a pleasant mix of old and modern. The bedroom was larger than the normal chaîne hotels, and the restaurant was large and well furnished. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate in coming back again."
