"We booked this as part of a longer stay in Norway. We were dissatisfied with the property for numerous reasons but primarily because the description fell far short of the reality. We were looking for a one bedroom apartment and the description clearly states this had one bedroom and a sitting area. In fact, what we got was a sofa bed in the corner of the main - and only room. To sit comfortably would have required dismantling and re-making the bed every day in order to have a comfortable place...

"The location is absolutely perfect. Right in the heart of the wharf Note - this is similar to a hostel … but no lounge area or staff. It is simply a hall with bedroom doors, 2 bathrooms, 1 shower and laundry. So no place to connect or sit outside of your bedroom. No staff for questions or security. The small room is simple - bed and nightstand and small high window . Linens fresh … Also note - it’s a five storey old building with winding stairs and no elevator - so not ideal for anyone...

"Room was full of dirty laundry and bedsheets. No staff on duty. Nobody answered the phone. Other guests were leaving because of broken shower and no toilet paper. I had no choice but to get another hotel. 2 hours later I received an email that they had assigned the wrong room. Too late. I want a refund of my prepayment."

However, the overall condition of the house did not match what we expected based on the photos shown on the website. The photos only show one bedroom and the living room, which are in acceptable condition, but the rest of the house—including the other five bedrooms, the kitchen, and the second bathroom—were older and in worse condition than the areas shown in the pictures. "Helt okey boende, man får vad man betalar för. Bilderna är från när det var nytt så lite mer slitet är det idag. Duschen skulle behöva en ordentlig skrubbning och det skulle behövas lite mera lampor av de mindre slaget. Nu var det enbart taklampor som endast gick att ha på fullt ljus eller inget. Bra gångavstånd till stan och nära till affär mm. Så på det stora hela var vi nöjda."
