"I travelled to the Tourotel expecting the worst given a lot of the reviews, and was pleasantly surprised and can only suggest those giving such poor reviews haven't stayed in ski accommodation before or hadn't looked at any of the photos. Only downside is no internet in any of the apartments which is very poor in this day and age. It is located a little away from the centre, but a regular (free bus service) is at the road end, there is large supermarket a short walk away and several places to eat nearby including pizza takeaway. "This is a property, that like the owners, is past its best. No buffet breakfast, its given to you on a plate. No self service coffee. Room decor is poor at best. Human hair on carpet tiles and skirting boards in room. Didnt bother staying for the second night."

"This is a simple but cosy hotel in a nice location at the top of the old town of Bardonecchia. The quadruple room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, plenty of storage, a clean and functional bathroom. Parking on site and even a small playground for the younger kids as well as the garden. Breakfast buffet was also good. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay, just what we needed at the end of our holiday."

"Leslie was very informative, guiding us regarding buses, restaurants and ski hire. Based on the hotels locality this was invaluable. The breakfast was sufficient. The hotel was warm and cosy but didn’t offer any access to refreshments at the end of the day so bear that in mind when coming down from the mountains. "

"I had a weeks stay here at short notice over Christmas. The team here are incredibly helpful and can provide useful information on the local area and activities. The standards of cleanliness are very good, I have stayed in 4 star hotels that did not maintain such levels. I believe based on the modernisation downstairs that this could turn into a hidden gem with suffice support."
