"The hotel was very historic. The public areas kept much of their character. The room was spartan in keeping with the history of the building as an old seminary. If you are into watching TV, there isn't one in the room. The views were incredible! A beautiful place "

"Personal genial, un abrazo a Henry, la limpieza muy bien, habitación con bañera y agua caliente inmediata, espaciosa y limpia, con gel, champú y jabón y calefacción que se agradecía en el día tan frío que nos hizo. Las camas muy cómodas . Lo peor es que es muy ruidosa, nos tocaron al lado unas personas haciendo cosas que gracias que no había niños, se oía todo, y al estar a pie de carretera es inevitable escuchar coches, si tienes sueño ligero no vas a descansar del todo bien."

"La cabaña es muy acogedora y está muy bien equipada, sólo le faltaba el champú y el gel en el baño y hay que tener cuidado en la bañera porque resbala. El dueño, Adolfo, es muy amable y tuvo con nosotros unos detalles de bienvenida estupendos. La ubicación es muy tranquila y tan sólo a 8Km de Cuenca. "Hotel La Plaza is an interesting hotel because if its decor. The receptionist was delightful and had taken heed of my email prior to arrival as to choice of room. Parking on the road is not so bad at weekends as the health centre opposite the hotel is closed, but during working hours (8 am to 9 pm) you are not allowed to park. The risk is that your car will be towed away and you will be fined, so pay careful attention to the notices."

But BANG LOUDLY on the gate when you first arrive otherwise you'll be sleeping in the car park. "We accidentally broke a glass but the staff was super nice about it. She told us not to worry about it. When we checked out on the last day, we were in a hurry to catch our train and the staff helped us call a cab. She was very helpful. Situated in a convenient area with a supermarket right downstairs and lots to eat around. Also close to the train station. Good value for money."

A pleasant stay
"We enjoyed the Hospederia. We were welcomed by a very nice woman that gave us a choice of rooms to pick from. The view from our room was beautiful and we also enjoyed sitting on the terrace. Walking from there was the beautiful cathedral with stunning stained glass windows by modern artists. The Casas Colgadas are within 5 to ten minutes walking distance where we saw the wonderful Museum of Abstract Art. From there crossing trough the iron bridge to reach the museum of contemporary art and the parador gave us magnificent views. And all that within 10-14 minutes distance from the Hospederia. Everything at the Hospederia was very clean. Only one small suggestion, add shampoo next to the gel so one can wash the hair if needed."
