"Water stopped working first night - pretty bad."

"Hotel reception was presentable, but the hallway on each floor was really old /dirty. All rooms, except one on 4th floor , without windows. Therefore there’s mead smell as we walked in, even though the room was clean with wood/plastic floor. We paid extra to get room with window, which helped a lot. Receptionist was very courteous and accommodating whatever we requested. We had to ask for everything incl housekeeping, water bottles, etc…we should not expect for more with the price we had paid...

"The hotel is right in the center of the nightlife/backpacker district. Easy to get tours, food and drinks, shopping etc. Staff are courteous and helpful. Breakfast is good. The rooftop area has a great view of the surrounding areas. This is my second stay here at the hotel. I didn't hesitate about booking here again. Budget room has no windows, but is clean, well ventilated and aircon is good. If I want a view, I can sit in peace on the rooftop balcony and watch the hustle and bustle beneath."

"Easily one of the best value-for-money hotels I've ever stayed with. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful (they don't speak very good English however). The cafe downstairs serve affordable coffee and food (not the best in Vietnam in terms of quality though). "Arrivés en cours de nuit (4h30 matin) et bien que nuit déjà réglée (3 au total) nous n'étions pas attendus...chambre non faite (pas de papier toilette, lit non préparé, pas de nécessaire pour se laver ni serviettes...). Pas d'eau chaude le matin, pas bonne propreté générale. Suite échange le matin avec couple franco vietnamien après petit déjeuner (café, pain, 2 œufs) longuement attendu même expérience pour eux et incompréhension de la note 10 (1 seul voyageur).
