"We had a decent one night stay at the Timberline Inn while in the area to hike around Mt. St. Helens. There are few accommodations in this area. "No frills, somewhat tired motor lodge with a little life left in it. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the location is convenient, and the staff is friendly. If you're not looking for anything fancy, this is the place. "

"We were in town for a baseball tournament. The hotel was just blocks from the Chehalis Sports Complex. VERY basic, but had what we needed. It would be great if they changed the type of cleaning product they use. It was extremely potent when we arrived. Thankfully it mellowed with the door and windows opened. We felt very safe there though. "

"The hotel lobby greets you with a very modern feel. Service staff were friendly and helpful. Upon entering the room, I was immediately blasted with what smelled like someone was smoking in it. The room was clean, and inviting though. The bed wasn't all that comfortable, but sheets and blankets were clean. Overall, this hotel has lots of promise for the price, if they can address a few things: Smoke smell, uncomfortable bed."

"The pool and hot tub were closed down for maintenance. The recreation center was closed due to vandalism. The arts and craft center had a fire and was shut down for the season. The grounds looked unkept and there was a sewer smell "

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is set in a big open area surrounded by forest. The apartment is beautifully furnished with a full kitchen. We opened all the windows and listened to the birds and the wind in the trees. We especially enjoyed the trails through the woods and the massive trees. We would stay here again!"
