"This place is a no frills budget hotel and I knew that when I booked it so I can’t really complain. But a few little things could have been done better. When we arrived there was no one to check us in. The machine didn’t recognise our reservation… we were in a bit of a panic and nearly had to call Expedia… however thankfully a lady arrived and gave us our key card! The pillows were so cheap as were the amenities in the room. But like I say… I wasn’t expecting anything else and I hadn’t paid for...

"We have stayed here before and the hotel has lookled a little "tired". We had a a refurbished room and it was small but good. Sound proofing from the nearby TGV railway line is excellent so we were surprised that we could here a loud TV until 1am. Main disappointment was the sun loungers around the small pool - only 4 and 2 were broken. More loungers are promised for 2014. We will stay there again - excellent breakfast for the price."

"Comfortable, clean,family run hotel in peaceful rural setting overlooking grape vines. A tranquil retreat for a few days visit to Beaujolais. Management pleasant & helpful, good English spoken and plenty of local knowledge offered. Good restaurants in the nearby village, beds comfortable. Only one complaint, the free wifi connection is poor, you can pay for a faster connection if required."

"We stopped off here for a night on a road trip. It was amazing value for money. The rooms are updated and the beds comfortable. We also ate at the restaurant which was excellent (Although I wouldn't eat there if you are in a rush as it took us over 2 hours to finish our 3 courses. Very pleasant though if you are just wanting an evening dedicated to good food and wine). Staff were welcoming and friendly. It really feels like a bed and breakfast the way they look after you. "small hotel with basic amenities which suited us for a one night stay but could have stayed longer. Very pleasant and helpful landlady. Good atmosphere has a bar and a dinning room where they served a very good menu. Far better than in much higher ranking hotels. Parking was easy and we will stay again. We had two rooms and both were clean and comfortable."

"Was allocated 2nd floor room, but it was no problem to be moved to 1st floor by staff. Very friendly staff and was very happy to carry bags for us. Hotel is rathertired but our stay of one night was very pleasant. In fact the towels were lovely and thick, much better than the ones in at Ibis Geneva. Staff could not have been more helpful. Stayed for dinner and food was cheap and very good. Would reccomend if you want a cheap place to stay."

"Basic, but value for money. No lift, so a bit of a climb to second floor rooms. Rooms small, with minimum furnishings, but clean. Beds comfortable, ensuite showers clean and efficient. Two night stay and one room was not cleaned. Explanation given was that they did not have a duplicate key.... Curtains in one room inadequate. Rooms to back, so no noise from busy road outside. TV. Wi-fi available. Nearby underground parking at reasonable rate. Well located close to historic centre,...
