"Place is great for families and I have a family of 5. 3 minute or less walk from the beach. Ocean House provides rooms that are more like small Loft apartments! We were able to cook and store all of our food. Dishes were provided in the room. The kids loved it . Would stay here again. The inky issues is the smell in the bathroom, which is something that seems to be a common thing in most of the coastal towns here in Europe, so we were ok. Thanks for the hospitality Ocean house. "Perfectly functional. Does what it says on the tin. The staff are very friendly and helpful with recommendations and knowhow. There’s a new breakfast/lunch bistro just opened attached to the hotel which did excellent breakfasts. Really pleased there was a parking discount! Shower was good. What more do you need from a place to get your head down. Go with the right expectations and you’ll be fine. "

"For the price this place was awesome. Yes, it is an older budget hotel- awesome desk staff. Very good location - walkable to food stores, busses and tram stops close by, close to the embassies (we were there to get our stolen passports replaced). Great value. "

"In Scheveningen and close to the Pier and tram stops (direct tram to Den Haag Central Station). Quiet street. Friendly staff. Standard room with shared facilities. Comfortable. Only potential downside is the early closure of check in. This could be an issue if a train is delayed and/or connection missed on the night of arrival."

"The property is in an older building, it is a walk up to the room. Though it is right near the river and easy to get to from the Centraal station. Breakfast was at their other location the Rembrandt Hotel. A vegan breakfast is available and they accommodated our request, though they didn’t have any non dairy milk or cream for the coffee. The staff was friendly, and helpful. It was only a short walk to anything we needed."
