The hotel is quiet, no traffic noise, and it is easy to walk to tourist attractions in South and North Bay from this central locations. I was glad I had booked this hotel as it exceeded my expectations."

"Very good property, clean, everything supplied such as tea/coffee, microwave, ironing board, tv. Good sized bathroom, small gripe that the door didn’t close which wouldn’t suit all. Apart from that, excellent. Very clean. Good communication from owners. Easy check-in. Good value for money. Good location, only a few minutes from town centre. Would recommend. "

"Great find, easy 5 min walk into York. Old building but clean. Beds were comfortable. Easy to check in and out. Tea and coffee facilities and a bottle of water each were a nice touch."

"I liked the hotel overall, parking wasn’t easy very small car park. The pool was shallow not brilliant for swimming. Food in the evening wasn’t the best, I had duck in a sauce which was very watery not what I expected. Breakfast was great and a nice bar to sit in . Would definitely recommend "

"Lovely property and lovely staff at pub. Great food and drink and very friendly service. Amazing value stay. Unfortunately heavy rain the night we stayed led to some leaks in property and bubbling drains in early hours of morning which hopefully can be fixed soon. Bad luck for us but otherwise would have been great."
