"We had a 4 night stay in Feb 2019 whilst visiting to spectate at the WRC rally Sweden so we are unable to comment much on the local area but did find the nearby town of Skarnes had a good selection of shops . The hotel owners and staff went out of their way to make us welcome and to meet our needs. Buffet breakfast had a large and delicious selection of food to suit all taste and needs . "This was a short personal trip to Asker, I just need a place to spent the night, and that was the cheapest place that I found, so it a good place to stay for short terms, is a 15min walking distance to the city center and main train station, the room is comfortable and clean, general speaking is a price- value option, breakfast is not included but you have the kitchen available to cook, warm your food and a kettle to heat up water to prepare your cafe or infusions"
