The rooms are basic but neat and tidy, and while the beds are actually quite comfortable, the pillows could definitely use an upgrade. Full disclosure: I’m the type of traveler who brings my own bedding anyway, so I was perfectly cozy! ​The rooms do have a bit of an old-fashioned smell to them, but I found a quick hack: I clipped a linen scented car vent air freshener onto the heater/AC unit, and it cleared the air right up. ​A huge highlight was the King Suite. It’s massive honestly felt more like a bachelor apartment than a hotel room.
