"This B&B is in the country but less than a half hour to Clare where many options for dinner and entertainment are found. The home itself is very clean and the hosts are quite likeable. "We had an awesome time at this property. The kitchen was well set up and provided good protection from rain. The double bed mattress is comfy memory foam. Not a lot of space in the bedroom for bags/extras so pack light! We struggled to find firewood so bring your own or go to The Dairy Doo or Gib’s locally. The property is fun to wander but doesn’t really have actual trails. We used the grill, coffee maker, hot plate, and fridge and it was perfect to make simple meals. We recommend for a...

"Very nice place. We weren’t there much as we were visiting our son on Crooked Lake . Two minor things that we didn’t mention on our critique sheet were that 1. Needs Kleenex in each bathroom 2. When we are paying this much for the use of your VRBO we didn’t think we should have to wash the dishes. No one could tell, then, if they were properly cleaned! Beds were great and living room was perfect! "

"We absolutely loved our time in the cabins on Chippewa lake! The cabins were very clean and cozy. They were stocked with all the amenities needed for our stay! The cabins are bigger than they look online! A steep walk to the lake but not a problem. The dock and water was perfect for kayaking and playing in the water.
