"Great staff, cheap place to stay, has all the basics, however not exactly the safest area outside the hotel, likely preferable to return to your room before dark or get a taxi to the door. Overall would recommend."

"The Avis rental was just fine but what I’m very unhappy about is Expedia’s sale of collision damage insurance. Turns out it is NOT part of the rental from Avis so if anything goes wrong you still have to pay Avis and then presumably try to get your money or part of it back from Expedia’s insurer. And buried deep in the terms is the exclusion of people over 70. So I paid as much as a day of rental to Expedia for nothing. They know my birthday, I’m pretty annoyed. "

"Set on a nice quiet street 15 min walk to town… 15 mins drive from the train station. The staff were lovely all with a good level of English. Great self contained 1 bedroom with sep lounge living area with pull out double sofa bed. This would need a a great place to use as a base to explore other areas…. "We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things...
