On the plus side, it's a beautifully situated property, very nicely decorated, with tasty breakfast and good, caring service with a smile. On the minus side, there is no noise insulation in the room at all, you will get very loud environmental noises leech into the room from outside all day and night. Luckily I brought earplugs so I wasn't bothered that much. There was a good amount of spider webs around the A/C and one live but small roach on the towel rack. Overall it was a pleasant stay,...

A good location with a beautiful view . Rooms are big and clean. The food is very good. The showers are the best ( good hot water pressure) .The hotel is situated only a few meteres from lake and kandy city centre . joseph and kumari ( owners) are very kindhearted and they really take good care of there guests.

Pearl was a great little place on the side of the mountain near the train station in Kandy. The property is clean, quiet and safe and the sitting area is a place where you could zone out and spend hours reading or just enjoying the view. it is a short walk down to the main streets of Kandy where local restaurants and cafes etc are everywhere. The manager and his wife are very helpful and serve a great breakfast. Be sure you know how you are getting here. Tuktuk or walking WITH google maps...

The staff at Villa Tea Fields was very kind and attentive

Had an amazing time ! Our trip had a very rocky start but the couple who owns the place were soo homely and treated us like their own daughters. We had an extremely good time, and we would love to stay with them again any time we ever visit ! Definitely recommend and will make your trip to Sri Lanka 1000x better.

very good location, nice rooms, comfortable beds, great food in restaurant and helpful staff

Nice place, attentive staff. Good lobby with comfortable sofas. Close to the center and shops. They have shared kitchen so you can cook if you have special diet. And kitchen is clean which is not common there

The panamamic views surrounding the house are absolutely gorgeous! My wife and I have stayed at places all over the world (36 countries and counting) and this house ranks in our top 5. The room is huge (with a large, modern bathroom), and the house has a stocked game room with pool, ping pong, foosball, and more plus a giant chessboard outside. Highly recommend ordering sri lankan dinner and breakfast (about 1500 LKR per person) from the house chef which was so delicious. The mangos came from a...

We cooked our meal for the diner and the property owner was flexible on providing us with whatever we need.Tea and lunch were prepared by the owner for us.

House manager was outstanding! Only reason not 5 overall stars is distance from city center.
