The owners were the loveliest couple I’ve ever met, they gave us tea and cookies when we arrived and made us the most delicious Sri Lankan breakfast during our stay. They were so kind and thoughtful. "A delightful stay and made memorable by the efforts of Ashen our host. He went above and beyond the call of duty in order to assist us in achieving the maximum in the minimum amount of time. From organising a cooking class to massages to organising a wonderful comfortable car and driver to get us from Ella to Kandy with a visit to nine bridges on our way. "

"This hotel has up side and quite a bit down sides. The big up side is the breathtaking view and the perfect staff (Gadjen). The down sides are both the fact that in order to go to Ella you must take a tuktuk. The owner taking advantage of the hotel isolation from the city and chrges unusually expensive rate for breakfast, whuch we were not informed in advance. 2 family breakfast cost as much as a night's stay in the hotel."
