"My Room, was clean comfortable and welcoming. Had a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed. Food in the bar (Indian) was among the best I've had, service quick and friendly. A good stay. Just as a note the rooms are up steep stairs at the back of the pub which wouldn't be suitable for anyone with a mobility issue"

"We arrived at the property and it was a self check in and all was well. However our room was in a terrible state.Tye beddings looked like there weren’t washed for awhile.the bedsheet had dirty obvious marks on it which were really disgusting.we called the owner as she was in contact to give us clean beddings and resolve the problem.we sent the photos of dirty beddings to her as well.she said she was going to come shortly, we waited for 30 minutes,she didn’t turn up and she didn’t take our call...

"1. initially the hotel didn’t want to honor our reservation - „we don’t have rooms for 4 people“, even though that’s what I reserved 2. then the hotel didn’t give me the room keys - they just claimed they didn’t receive my deposit transfer. 3. I was stranded with 2 kids at 11pm at the hotel, no mercy, they didn’t let me in. Even though I offered cash and credit cards to pay again for the deposit (which I had transferred already!) 4. It took them almost 2 weeks to refund the deposit."
