"When we arrived having travelled 200 miles, we were shocked to be told our booking of a room with ensuite facilities had been cancelled. We were offered 2 rooms left to choose from (which weren't ready) but neither room was ensuite, so we refused. We were told by the person managing the property to wait, initially until around 6.30pm, which then became 8.30, when he could ask the people staying in the suite if they wanted to swap to a room without facilities! "The staff was very friendly but the room I stayed in was not clean . The bath was dirty . I also paid extra for a lake view having said that you have to be quite tall , which I am not ,to enjoy the view from your bedroom. The location was great as you can enjoy a lovely walk around the lake ."

"The room was plenty for the two of us, the washroom was very clean and well kept. Great shower! Not an issue for us but for anyone that needs to use a Lift to get to upper floors this place doesn’t have as it’s only Stairs. Just a heads up. Also there was a strong cigarette smell in the hallways. Other that that it suited our needs for the 2 nights we stayed there. Thank you!"
