"I loved the historical nature of this hotel. It was formerly an orphanage and it has been restored to reflect that. The rooms are small, basically the width of a king size bed, (which was gorgeously comfortable), though there was a shower and sink in the room as well. The toilets are down the hall. The rooms are dead quiet, as you are encased by thick walls. There are a few plaques around the hotel to tell of its former life. "My first trip to Holland was wonderful. The attached restaurant was a bonus. The staff were extremely friendly & were able to help me in both German & English. The hotel is older with no air conditioning however the fan in the room was very helpful. The hotel is close to shopping & very walkable. The room was great except the view was lacking. "
