"The amenities were very basic, no coffee maker, safe, etc. in the room. However, they clean the room, make up the bed and change the towels every day. The location was very central, just across was the Amsterdam Central Station, at the end of the street was Dam Square
It was also a pleasant surprise that breakfast was included. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The only really reason I didn't rate it as excellent was the lack of room amenities.

"Jim was very helpful and a friendly face that will assist you. They are in the process of renovating the rooms, painting, and upgrading the floors to laminate flooring and improving the bathrooms as of mid September 2026. My room was #14 at the back of the hotel with a courtyard view and very quiet. Also had a small fridge which was quite nice to have. "The area was gorgeous with huge old church across from it. Right on the main plaza with old architecture buildings. Lots of nearby restaurants and short train ride to Amsterdam central. "

"Leider war sehr wenig Ausstattung in der Unterkunft. Das eine Fenster im Bett mit den Stockbetten war kaputt und ließ sich nicht schließen. Die Backbleche und der Backofen waren dreckig. Außerdem ist der Griff vom Wasserhahn abgefallen. Es war okay dafür dass wir nur abends da waren und zum schlafen. Aber ich würde es nicht noch einmal buchen."
