Then, the hotel was a standard budget hotel--nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable with a decent breakfast. This trip we found that the hotel was considerably run down. The lobby ceiling had peeling paint and bare wood patches, the towels were threadbare and frayed, the pillows were lump and depleted, and the carpet felt dirty. "This was my first stay at Glendorn and I felt it was worthwhile to post a review on my stay. My girlfriend and I made the long weekend trip in April 2010, so this write-up comes shortly after our stay. I have to first say, I was blown away by this resort. The food was fantasic, the service was wonderful, and the outdoor activities were most enjoyable. We especially loved the decor and how it embraced the history of the resort.
