He had to ask for new sheets as the ones on the bed were filthy. The room was dirty, and bathroom filthy. No amenities (hairdryer, kettle). The breakfast was in a small windowless room in the middle of the hotel and was pretty grim. The waiters chose to wait on the 'middle class' Indians and ignored everyone else.
