"From what I gather, the owner, his wife, children, and dog live at the bed and breakfast. We absolutely loved our stay there and are planning to recommend it to everyone we know. If you are a skier, the bed and breakfast is within walking distance of a ski lodge. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The owner and his family are extremely friendly and helpful. It is hard to find spacious hotel rooms but this room had more space than we even needed. Comfortable beds, blackout shades, and beautiful views of the hills, Alps in the distance and castle ruins literally accross the street. It was peaceful and perfect! And the breakfast and dinner we had at the hotel were amazing!

We really enjoyed this place and all the perks like the cereal bar/mini market in the shared space . The views were lovely and it felt very modern though we were staying in a historic building . We did not have any interaction with staff but everything was clearly marked so it was an easy stay !

Beautiful hotel only 10 minutes from the castles! Very very happy with our experience. Easy to find, nice parking, great location walking distance from downtown. We were in Europe for 3 weeks and this was my favorite hotel we stayed in. Clean and quiet. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing experience. Hotel couldn't have been closer to the train/bus station and was beautiful. Staff went WAY above expectations to make us feel comfortable and welcome. So glad I made last minute decision to spend the night in Fussen rather than take a tour from Munich - hotel less expensive and was MUCH better!! Wish we would have been there 2 nights - so much to do. Room was HUGE and incredibly clean - best bathroom during our entire trip to Europe!. Super quiet in "new"...
