"The Manor Hotel makes a great stop-over if you need a break when traveling through Heathrow, it’s an easy door-to-door 30 min bus ride for about 2 pounds. There’s a lot of English character in this hotel, and they are currently renovating the dining and bar areas with an authentic English village feel. The progress so far is stellar, and they are planning to be finished at the beginning of October 2024."

"Booked this hotel last minute as a stop over on the way to London and glad we did. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy as well as being well decorated and comfy. Quaint little bar and restaurant is attached, we didn't eat but did enjoy a drink in the courtyard style patio. We were given a ground floor room (named wisteria) that was a great size with a huge bathroom, the room had a smart TV and some very welcome air-conditioning during a heatwave. "Room was clean but basic. But based on the price I paid compared to other options, I really couldn’t complain. It did its job well enough. Although I have stayed in comfier beds, it was comfy enough. There were no food options within the site for dinner or breakfast, but I knew this going in and was prepared for it. There were plenty of options nearby. Overall, you get what you paid for; no more, no less. And based on this, it’s a good option."
