"Man it wasn't great. There is an attached apartment where someone owns a large dog which did not stop barking because the owner was not there. So i asked to switch rooms several times before i was moved to a room away from the attached apartment. The staff was understanding and friendly but it just was not a good night sleep. If the staff/ owners? Hadn't been so kind it was not worth the 20$savings. "

"The grounds around the property offered many areas to relax, read, and just enjoy nature. The room was elegant and the hosts/staff were friendly and very helpful. Indoors we took advantage of the library to play card games. The 2nd floor terrace also offered a very peaceful place to read. It is an easy .5 mile bike ride to the Panhandle Pathway Trail. "

"My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house had everything we could need, clear instructions, and was extremely clean. Not to mention, the house was gorgeous. "Our stay here was wonderful!! It is a beautiful space. I love antiques charm- this place had it all. Beautiful wood, comfy furniture. Our host even left snacks and drinks for us! It was quiet and comfortable. Communication was great and check-in was super easy. I wish we were able to get there early enough to enjoy the restaurant downstairs. "We were attending a wedding in the area and needed a place to stay with our large family. The Winona House and Tammy were wonderful! The house had something for everyone. The kids, all adults, hung out in the lounge, played pool and even got in a game of hoops. We enjoyed family time on the patio and beautiful views of the lake. Before the wedding we took photos in the backyard and by the gazebo. We loved our stay and we highly recommend."
