Coffee and ice and filtered water available anytime there. Comfy chairs and nice setting next to the river. Beer and wine served with good food. Nice place to chill and relax before going home. $20 Airport shuttle is very convenient. "

"This beautifully designed lodge, on 4000 acres, is a unique experience. 107 free range horses, parrots, monkeys add to the ambience. Large , comfortable a/c rooms, friendly staff, good restaurant ,and lovely pool, make for a memorable stay. Convenient to many sites. Owner’s wife is an excellent artist and has a gallery there. We loved it!"

"Howler Monkey was an interesting little place. Family run and in a fairly remote location so we saw enormous, 5 ft. orange iguanas along the river (take binoculars to see them better) and heard the howlers in the area. However, the place could use some work - cleaning, painting, general maintenance, etc. And it is not a 'resort' by most American's description.
