The hotel is a bit on the older side than I’m used to, but in a small town like Gilford, it matches the aesthetic. I’ve heard other options aren’t as great, so I will likely end up staying again next year. The staff are very attentive to your needs, though, and I had no other issues with my stay. "This historic property has been lovingly refurbished into a modern day inn. There are clean,shared bathrooms. The outside porch and sitting areas overlook the lake with fabulous views. The owner was friendly and made home made muffins for breakfast. My only complaint is the noise from the motocyclists during the evening."
